About the HDSA

The HDSA is short for the Highland District Soccer Association. We are one of seven DISTRICTS that exist across the province of Nova Scotia, Canada as a member of SOCCER NOVA SCOTIA.

As a District, our membership is made of of various SOCCER CLUBS located in the region, The Highland region stretches from Cumberland county to Antigonish, and included Colchester and Pictou county in between. The HDSA provides our club with some basic admin services, technical development assistance when possible, and general club support on any matters involved in organizing the sport of soccer for players of all ages and skill levels across the region.

The HDSA also owns and manages the WM Sobey Indoor Sports Complex in Stellarton, Nova Scotia, a facility that contains a 110ft x 220ft artificial turf indoor playing surface, locker rooms, viewing area, admin offices, and 2 international size squash courts.
